Riding the dream documents Alain’s trip from the time he spent in Costa Rica, learning to surf in big waves while base camped at his friend Tomas’ during four months. From then on, he continued riding south on his motorbike all the way to Ushuaia; and then back up the coast of Brazil. Ninety thousand kilometers later, after riding in nineteen countries during three and a half years on the road; he is still riding the dream: living simply with his camera, laptop, the best gear for the outdoors and his motorbike.
On September 28th, 2007 Alain Denis and Calixte Leblanc rode out of Jasper, Alberta on their Suzuki DR 350 Enduro Motorbikes. They were equiped only with their climbing gear, laptops, cameras and barely essential clothing when they took off on a journey with no schedule nor time frame; with just the goal of riding south while documenting their lifestyle along the road. It turned out to be a one year journey full of adventures, from ice climbing in Colorado, to rock climbing in Mexico, to surfing in El Salvador and riding back roads in Guatemala; a full on Cal & Al Mission
