World traveler, climber and adventure enthusiast; an easy-going, French Canadian guy with a passion for the outdoors. Alain was born in eastern Ontario, but in the early 90s he followed the call to the West Coast and found a new home base in the Sea to Sky region of British Columbia. Alain has sailed from Thailand to Europe and has travelled many mountains on skis and by foot; most recently, he rode a motorcycle from Canada to the tip of South America. With every mission that he takes on, his passion for outdoor adventure photography only expands.
A self-taught photographer, he shoots professionally for commercial and editorial clients; his images have won awards and graced the front covers of magazines, his photos have been published in guide books and calendars. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with:
